DRACUT — Open Space Committee approves trail guide reprints and Brox Woods walkthrough plans. The committee unanimously authorized a $500 budget to produce approximately 200 additional copies of the Trail Guide with historical corrections and a revision date. The town's recent $750,000 purchase of Brox Woods, a 41-acre forest property bordering New Hampshire, was confirmed; a committee walkthrough is scheduled for February 7 at 10 a.m.
Chair Stacy Randell-Shaheen reported the committee's operating budget at $2,700. The committee also resolved a dispute over Paper Road and Open Space lot 61, determining the property owner may maintain a fence provided utilities retain electric pole access for maintenance.
