Dracut Education Sub-Committee agreed to monthly meetings on school and town coordination. Members from the School Committee and Board of Selectmen, including Heather Santiago-Hutchings and Josh Taylor of the Board and Robert Sheppard and Allison Volpe of the School Committee, discussed the FY27 school budget and inter-board collaboration. The committee set April 22 as the deadline for budget questions from selectmen, with responses due April 29.
A summer meeting of all three boards—School Committee, Board of Selectmen, and Finance Committee—will be held to plan the FY28 budget. Monthly Education Sub-Committee meetings begin May 13.
