DRACUT — Community Preservation Committee unanimously approved prior minutes and scheduled a continuation meeting to negotiate the Grange Hall application. After the applicant apologized for earlier comments about the Historical Commission, the committee directed Chair Bill Greenwood to meet with the town manager on public access and parking issues. The committee also discussed town meeting preparations and noted plans to reorganize in August.
The May 26 hybrid meeting will continue negotiations, with Town Counsel having recommended the town hold a historical restriction on the property and the applicant provide additional public benefits.
