Dracut Conservation Commission approved two environmental Orders of Conditions while deferring major residential development. The Commission issued an order for the Lakeshore Road project requiring wetland signage at 25- to 30-foot intervals and approved a three-year Japanese knotweed treatment at 42 Cass Avenue using herbicide application by Native Horizon Vegetation Management, with work scheduled to begin mid-August. Four applications were deferred to the August 19 meeting, including a major residential project at 2041 Bridge Street, which includes endangered species protections.
In enforcement actions, the Commission reinstated fines at 190 Gerrish Ave and voted to involve Town Counsel at 793 Nashua Rd.
