Conservation Commission · Meeting of June 3, 2026

Dracut Conservation Commission issued an Order of Conditions for a pool project at 156 Old Pasture Road after determining the proposal met wetland protections, while advancing several enforcement matters. Chair Lori Cahill presided as the Commission voted 4-1 to resume fines at 744 Merrimack Ave due to insufficient progress on required vegetation restoration following an impervious-surface project. The board unanimously rescinded cease-and-desist and tire-removal enforcement orders at 791 Nashua Road and Murphy's Farm respectively after remediation work was verified.

Four permit applications were continued to future meetings pending additional information and state environmental comments. The Conservation Agent reported the town is at drought Level 3, nearly emergency status.
