Conservation Commission Issues Enforcement Order on Murphy's Farm Tires

Dracut Conservation Commission approved four Orders of Conditions and continued two residential projects to mid-May. The board voted unanimously to issue an enforcement order requiring tire extraction from vernal pools at Murphy's Farm, with extraction timing to be determined by the conservation agent to protect breeding lifecycles. Chair Lori Cahill and members voted to approve wetland protection conditions for parking lot work at Brite Kleen Cleaners (1242 Lakeview Ave) including locked gates and contractor snow removal, a demolition and rebuild at 119 Vermont Ave with rain garden, and repaving at Grace Bible Church with stormwater permitting.
Two Spring Road residential applications were continued pending site surveys and design modifications to buffer zones.
