Dracut Conservation Commission issues orders for farm facility and utility work, moves major housing project forward. The board unanimously approved amendments to the Dracut Wetland Regulations clarifying impervious surface regulation within wetland buffers and voted unanimously to issue an Order of Conditions for a new farm packing facility on Parker Road. The Commission also approved conditions for a National Grid transmission line refurbishment project covering 3.5 miles of existing right-of-way.
A major 268-unit residential development at 231 Wheeler Street advanced with approval of conditions requiring post-and-rail fencing, signage, and no further building within the 50-foot setback, though three members abstained from the vote due to involvement questions.
