DRACUT — The Dracut Conservation Commission approved amendments to wetland regulations increasing after-the-fact filing fees, unanimously cleared events at Beaver Brook Farm, and issued or amended three enforcement orders addressing unpermitted tree clearing, vehicle storage, and illegal snow dumping. Chair Lori Cahill and members Emile Demers, Dave Martin, David Sutherland, and Robert Northrup Jr. delayed discussion of a 30,000-to-40,000-cubic-yard material-movement proposal at Murphy's Farm to April 15 pending review of existing Orders of Conditions and possible new permitting requirements. The Commission also continued three Notice of Intent hearings to April 1 and April 15, and ordered enforcement action at 54 Scott Street and Brite Kleen Cleaners at 1242 Lakeview Avenue for violations of wetland protection standards.
