Dracut Board of Selectmen declined to pursue an extension for the Campbell School project on August 25. School Committee Chair Rob Sheppard presented a modified proposal that would reduce costs by an estimated $2.2 million through building repurposing and property sales, but Selectman Kristie Wohlander's motion to request additional time from the Massachusetts School Building Authority failed to receive a second.
